I was born in 1987 in Middlesbrough, Cleveland in the North East of England. I recently completed my MA in Future Arts (Fine Art) at the town's Teesside University. |
| About the Artist | |
I am a artist, writer, researcher, museum volunteer, one-time web copywriter and general free-roaming creative. Within my visual art practice, I am mostly concerned with nominally two-dimensional creative forms, consisting of drawing, painting, printmaking and photography; my constant and incisive flitting between different media is a key characteristic of my work, and my principal interests of present are the possible ways of interlinking these disparate themes and media, arts writing and publishing, and the more general theoretrical and cultural relationship of the text or word to the visual image. |

| The results of my most recent project, combining recent painting and printmaking and focussing on text, image and notions of the 'frame' and/or 'viewfinder' were to be found at the 2009 MA Future Arts (fine art) final show, 'Amaze', which was open across all four floors of the Athena Building, Teesside University from 24-30 September 2009.
